Front Desk
Our entire team provides exceptional orthodontic care in a welcoming and friendly state-of-the-art facility. We are passionate about creating beautiful smiles and ensuring our patients have a positive experience from the moment they call our office for an initial consultation.
Front desk, AKA “The Team of First Impressions” is the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. We play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service and ensure the smooth operation of our patient experience. If you would like to join this incredible team you must have excellent communication skills, a smile you can see and hear, inherent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting. Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming greeting complete with a smile
- Schedule appointments and manage the schedule efficiently
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with insurance-related data entry and preparation
- Collect patient payments and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and waiting area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, electronic data organization and patient correspondence
- Collaborate with clinical team to ensure seamless patient flow and exceptional patient care
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and in an organized fashion in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with dental software (e.g., Ortho 2 Edge, Microsoft and Google Suite)
- Understanding of dental insurance policy parameters as it applies to orthodontic treatment
- Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment
Orthodontic Assistant
Our orthodontic assistants are passionate about patient care and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. If you would like to join this incredible team you must be meticulous about patient care, have excellent communication skills, take excellence personally, and thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the orthodontist during patient appointments – bonding brackets (Damon & Light Force) and delivering clear aligners
- Take and upload dental x-rays
- Scan with an intraoral scanner – iTero
- Prepare for patient procedures
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and care instructions
- Perform basic orthodontic procedures under the supervision of the orthodontist
- Maintain accurate patient records
- 3D Printing
- Experience with Ortho 2 Edge software (preferred, not required)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a dental or orthodontic office preferred (2 years of experience preferred, but not required)
- Strong work ethic – intrinsically motivated
- Positive, upbeat, friendly personality
- Be a team player
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable transportation and dependability
**All team members work in both our Commerce Twp. and Farmington Hills offices. The right candidate will be scheduled to work in both locations on a regular basis.
